Limit the time and effort you spend to respond to RFPs, or requests for proposals. Sales experts warn that although it can be exciting to get these requests, the rate of success with RFPs is low because you are probably responding to a request that your competitor helped the prospect write.
The number one pitfall in a sales pitch is self-focus. Identify whether this is a problem in your organization by this test: Ask your sales leaders what they can tell you about your company. If they respond with product or company attributes rather than customer issues, you have a problem.
Companies with premium priced products must be prepared to invest in the development of sales capabilities. A common excuse in these organizations is that salespeople lose out to competitors based on price. If this is a recurring excuse, coach your salespeople to tell a premium sales story to match the premium pricing.
Sales experts use this tactic to sharpen their language: As you prepare for a sales call, ask yourself 'so what?' for each statement or bullet point on the agenda. Each statement you make must be clearly relevant to your customers’ issues.
This formula to craft a sales story has been proven effective at over fifty leading companies. First, list the client issues that your business can address. Next, detail exactly what you offer. Lastly, outline your key differentiators.
“Let me steal a minute” are the best words to use in the opening of a cold call. It is relaxed, somewhat informal, not overused, and openly acknowledges the fact that you are taking someone’s time unexpectedly.
“I head up” is another phrase that successful sales consultants recommend using. For example, “I head up our northeast division.” It communicates leadership, authority, a sense of ownership, and imbues confidence in those who use it.
Countless successful sales leaders attest that you should expect to ask three separate times in the same conversation before your prospect might agree to an in-person meeting. Asking three times for the meeting should not be viewed amongst your salespeople as overly pushy but rather the right degree of assertiveness.
There are three magic words to use when you ask for an in-person meeting over the phone: visit, fit, and value. Use “visit” instead of “meeting” because it sounds less serious. Discuss whether you might be a good “fit” for the customer. And, use phrases such as “perhaps we could add ‘value’ to your business.”
Before you invest time and resources to compile a proposal, clarify who has the decision authority in the organization, the timeline to make a decision, the available budget, and the degree of willingness to make a change. Such information greatly clarifies whether the proposal is worth your time.
Work backward to translate your sales goals into the amount of activity needed earlier in the sales process. Track your activity for a quarter to obtain these numbers for yourself and see where improvement is needed.
Next, translate your quarterly goals for closed deals into the number of initial proactive conversations you need to have to get there.
To strategically find new business, seek out potential customers that closely resemble your best current customers. It is more likely that you’ll bring a clear value proposition in those situations. Make sure that these target accounts are finite, focused, written, and workable.
Be aware of the “prisoner of hope” complex. That is, you are always holding out for one of those promising new proposals to hit. You become a prisoner of hope to a precious few deals and neglect the process to create new opportunities. This is one of the most common reasons salespeople fail.
When you spend too much time to be a good corporate citizen, you are likely trapped in another common pitfall. People who have a difficult time saying “no” tend to push new business development efforts to the bottom of the list.
Only 10-15% of the sales team in a typical organization can be classified as true A-player hunters when it comes to new business. Far too often, managers overload their sales team with tedious account management work. Unleash your A-players to find new business and experience growth instead.

The film had its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival on January 23, 2020,[1] where it won the World Cinema Documentary Special Jury Award for Creative Storytelling.[2]
Shortly after, Neon acquired distribution rights to the film.[3] It was released in the United States on May 22, 2020.[4]
Background[edit]
In an interview with The Guardian, director Benjamin Ree said that he aimed to explore the questions 'What do humans do in order to be seen and appreciated” and 'What it takes of us to help and see others.”[5]
The idea for the film came when Ree read about the robbery in various Norwegian newspapers.[6] He contacted the painter Barbora Kysilkova and began filming her first, and it took some time to convince Karl-Bertil Nordland to participate. Ree began filming both of them together the fourth time they met.[7]
The film started as a short documentary with the filmmakers not knowing what would happen or where the story would go. Eventually, they decided to make it a feature after seeing Nordland's first reaction to his portrait. They filmed from 2016 to 2019.[8]
The archival footage in the film is mainly filmed by a friend of Kysilkova, who already began filming her back in 2014. She took photographs and filmed the making of the two paintings that later would be stolen. She was also at the exhibition and participated in the trial. The courtroom recordings are the actual recording of the first meeting of Nordland and Kysilkova, where the latter brought with her an audio recorder to get the trial translated afterwards. She approached Nordland during a break. The film also uses the actual CCTV footage of the robbery, which was the main evidence in the trial.[9]
Kysilkova spoke English in the film as she didn't understand Norwegian.[10]

Ree chose to present the film in an unconventional structure as “We wanted to portray Karl-Bertil as a complex, charismatic, intelligent guy. The only way to do that was to see the world from his perspective.'[11]
Critical reception[edit]
The Painter and the Thief received positive reviews from film critics, mainly for its direction, story, structure and emotional weight. It holds a 'fresh' 96% approval rating on review aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes, based on 107 critic reviews, with a weighted average of 8.1/10. The site's critical consensus reads, 'The Painter and the Thief uses the unlikely bond between a criminal and his victim as the canvas for a compelling portrait of compassion and forgiveness.'[12] On Metacritic, the film is currently assigned a weighted average score of 79 out of 100, based on 33 critic reviews, indicating 'generally favorable reviews'.[13]
Cath Clarke from The Guardian awarded the film 4 stars out of 5, describing it as 'astonishing, emotionally electric' and writing, 'What an engrossing film – and the gender reversal of a male muse inspiring a female painter has got to be one small step for art-world equality,'[14] while Adrian Horton called the film a 'remarkable documentary' that 'plays more like a twisting narrative film than real-life portrait.'[15]
In his review, Nick Schager from The Daily Beast describes the story as 'a true-crime tale reconfigured into a unique relationship saga, replete with twists, turns, heartbreak, failure and redemption that’s as surprising as it is well-earned.' He also praised the film's ending as 'unbelievably unexpected, poignant, and altogether perfect.'[16]
Peter Debruge wrote for Variety magazine that its direction and editing 'don’t give us all the information we might need to form a clear understanding of their subjects’ actions, yet their approach is not only more artistic but somehow more representative of real life', also noting its 'time-bending nonlinear structure and various sleight-of-hand techniques to deliver information when it’s most effective.'[17]
Paul Byrnes wrote in his review for The Sydney Morning Herald, 'The level of trust required to allow a filmmaker to document their lives is in itself moving, but it mirrors the relationship they have with each other,' adding that 'The slow revelation of [Barbora's] pain makes clear just how artful Ree’s work on structure has been in this achingly beautiful true story.'[18]
Brian Tallerico from RogerEbert.com awarded The Painter and the Thief 3 stars out of 4, writing that it 'illuminates a great deal about the human condition' and that some sequences 'are going to stick with me for a long time.' He added, 'Ree has a very cinematic language, shooting long shots down hallways, trailing his subjects like a French New Wave director would follow his fictional creations down a sidewalk.' However, he felt that the film 'does kind of fizzle out in the third act ... I was hoping for something to take the film to the next level in the final section, but the opposite almost happens. For best performance, it is recommended that the external drive be at least twice the size of your Mac’s internal drive. For example, if you have a 500 GB drive in Mac, use a 1 TB external drive for Time Machine.
Before you begin, make sure to use a new drive. If you use an old drive, then ensure nothing is on it. If there are files on it, they will be lost after re-formatting. Further, it is not recommended to use the drive for anything else, except Time Machine. But if you plan to use an external drive for both backup and regular use, then you will have to create a partition. It’s best to avoid this. Let’s check it out.
How to Backup Your Mac with Time Machine
Step #1. Connect the external storage device to your Mac.
Step #2. You will see a window asking you to use this drive to back up with Time Machine. Check the box for Encrypt Backup Disk. Then click Use as Backup Disk.
In case you automatically do not see the above window when you connect the external drive, follow the steps below.
Step #3. Click on the Apple logo from the top left and then select System Preferences.
Step #4. Next, click Time Machine.
Step #5. Click Select Backup Disk.
Step #6. At last, select your external drive from the list of available disks. Next, it is recommended that you check the box for Encrypt backups. Finally, click Use Disk.
Note: In case the disk you selected for Time Machine is not appropriately formatted as needed, you will be prompted to erase the disk. Click Erase to proceed.
Done! You have successfully enabled Time Machine backup for your Mac.
From now on, Time Machine will make periodic backups without needing any action from you (except merely plugging in the external drive). The first backup will take a long time. But future backups will be quick as Time Machine will backup only the files that have changed since the previous backup.
Time Machine on your Mac automatically makes hourly backups for the past 24 hours and daily backups for the past month. Further, it also makes weekly backups for all previous months. The oldest backups are deleted when your backup disk is full to manage storage on the external drive.
Suppose you are shutting down your Mac and want to back it up now to save all changes, then click on the Time Machine icon from the top menu bar and select Back Up Now.
Overall, Time Machine is fantastic. But if you lose your backpack that has your Mac and the external drive, or if a natural calamity hits your house, then chances are both your computer and the Time Machine backup drive will be lost or destroyed. (Unless you back up to Time Machine on a NAS located elsewhere.) So, the next best solution is to use the power of Cloud to store your most important files. Let me show you how.
How to Back up Your Mac to iCloud
Apple gives you 5GB of free iCloud space. This is too little to backup all files from the Mac. But still, it can be used to keep your important documents and data safe and available on all Apple devices. If you like, you can buy a subscription plan that starts at $0.99 for 50GB. Other options are $2.99 for 200GB and $9.99 for 2 TB.

It started because I was trying to tell my kids about how typewriters worked (because of course they'd never seen one), so I looked for a typewriter simulator on the web, but all the existing ones that I could find get one very basic thing wrong - when you press backspace, they erase the character you just typed, like a computer. On a real typewriter, backspace simply moves the carriage back one space, allowing you to overtype a previously typed character. Erasing requires Tipp-Ex or suchlike.

Why are some of my keypresses being ignored? / Why can't I type at my usual speed?
On a manual typewriter, only one (striking) key may be pressed at a time, otherwise at best the second key's hammer gets blocked by the first, and at worst the hammers may get tangled together and require picking apart. OverType replicates this (just the blocking, not the tangling, for now..) by ignoring any keypresses that happen when a character key is already being held down. Because you are used to typing on a computer, you almost certainly overlap your keypresses without even realising it. Be sure to release each key before pressing the next.
Likewise, you cannot type during a carriage return. You have to wait for it to finish.
How do I print what I've typed?
Just use your browser's standard Print function. It will use the print stylesheet, which omits all the on-screen controls, page border and background, and just prints the contents of the page.
How do I save/export?
You can use your operating system's 'Print to file' function (on a Mac, the 'PDF' button in the bottom-left of the Print dialog). As with printing to an actual printer, this will just render the contents of the page, not the controls or background. Alternatively, if you want the background and your text fits on the screen, take a screenshot.
How can I save as plain text or in Word format for later editing?
You can't, for two reasons. Firstly, it's completely against the spirit of a manual typewriter. Secondly, the whole purpose of this program is to replicate features of a manual typewriter that computer programs such as word processors and text editors cannot replicate, such as overtyped, unevenly inked, and wobbly characters. If you could export as text you would lose all of that. If you want editable text, use a word processor or text editor like a sane person..

How to Download and Install Coin Master for PC
If you are using Windows, download and installBlueStacks 3.
If you are using Mac, download and install BlueStacks.
Setup your installed emulator according to the instructions explained in the guides.
Now open BlueStacks or BlueStacks 3.
Mac users: For BlueStacks, click on the Search icon and type the name as “Coin Master“ and then click on the Search using Google Play. Upon finding the game in Play Store, install it.
Windows users: For BlueStacks 3, click on My Apps > System Apps > Google Play Store.
In the Google Play Store’s search bar, type “Coin Master” and search. As soon as the game appears, install it.
After the installation comes to an end, the game will appear in My Apps tab of BlueStacks 3 and All Apps tab of BlueStacks.
You can now launch the game and follow the instructions given on the screen to play it.That’s all.
